Welcome to KJS Ministries, the website of Kevin J. Schoonhoven. This site is designed to provide you with some information about my life, family, and ministry. Although I am currently a Vice-President at InterWest Insurance Services, I am also an active minister at my local church, Community Bible Church in Vallejo. At CBC, I preach and teach regularly, lead a community group, and disciple several men in the church. I am a graduate of The Master's Seminary, and have over 10 years of pastoral experience as a Lead Pastor. I also have 2 years of experience as Faculty Dean at The Cornerstone Seminary and Bible College. If you're interested, here is more about me.

My Objective

My objective is to maximize the use of my gifts for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ by pastoring a local church with a team of mutually called elders for the equipping of the saints and evangelizing of the lost.  I desire to preach and teach regularly, to disciple and train other men, to lead and guide future expansion, and to counsel and shepherd families.  I believe my spiritual gifts are administration, teaching, leading, exhorting, and giving.
